MONDO INTERNATIONAL Football Academy (MIFA) was founded by Robert “Coach Butch” Mondoñedo Jr. back on August 8, 2008. During that time, he has already been a fixture of the country's soccer community for the past ten years, being an active pioneer member KAYA FOOTBALL CLUB since January of 1998. He holds the record for the longest player that played for the club as an attacking wing for 12 years with two championships in the United Football League and a handful of 7 a side tournaments including NCRFA Champion for beach football.
By 2009, he became the playing skills and fitness coach of the club who assigned to develop new talents that are now mostly in the current National Football Men’s Team. By the 2010 season, he was promoted as club manager for the club Kaya Football Club.
Over the past 12 years, he has coached thousands of children from prestigious private schools such as British School Manila, Australian International School, Poveda School, Beacon International School and De La Salle Canlubang Integrated School and his two alma mater schools, International School Manila and Paref Southridge School for boys where he is Head Coach of the school team. Currently, he is the President for MONDO GROUP of Companies and one of the technical directors for the academy.
He specializes in teaching children as young as 2.5 years old ages up to 17 years old but can also teach adults and train professional players. He is also the private skills development coach for members of the Under 14 and Under 16 Philippine National Girls and Boys Team.His level of expertise in soccer has made him an essential contributor to the overall development of the sport in the country primarily in the Metro Manila Area. The academy has 2 main venues in Makati and 1 in Bonifacio Global City and two in the south in Alabang. He has instant credibility with parents, players, and coaches.
